Augusta, GA -- One of the country's top shooting guards, with strong ties to Augusta, is heading back to the Peach State. On Wednesday, Jason Morris is expected to sign with Paul Hewitt and Georgia Tech.
You might remember Jason Morris from last summer's Nike Peach Jam. He was clearly one of the best players in the tournament and Rivals.com has him rated the number 84th best player in the country.
Morris grew up in Augusta, and would have attended Hephzibah High School, but before Jason's freshman year, his father decided Jason would be better off attending a prep school in Connecticut, and it was the perfect move.
Last season, as a junior, he averaged 17 points at Hotchkiss private school, and now he's heading to Georgia Tech.
