This week, we hit the streets with "Pass It On", and after standing in 100-degree heat for only 10 minutes, we met with Blanche Clinefelter.
John Lynn: "Alright Blanche, you flagged me down on Washington Road about fifteen minutes ago and who did you decide to give the money to?"
Blanche Clinefelter, Augusta, GA: "Vicki Wilkerson, she is a true team player in the work environment. Every day, I reach a hurdle and I can give her a call, she will go above and beyond to find a solution to my problems, and I greatly appreciate all the work that she does that supports the honors program here at ASU."
John: "After giving Blanche $300, we had to move fast to catch up with Vicki at her job and surprise her with 'Pass It On'."
John: "Vicki, I was on the side of the road 15 minutes ago and Blanche pulled over and told me about you and she has something very special that she wants to do for you."
Blanche: "I want to let you know that when I saw the 'Pass It On' sign, I thought of you because every day you make a difference, you are a team player and I appreciate you very much, so I'm going to pass it on right here to you."
Vicki Wilkerson: "You're too sweet! You are a wonderful addition to the ASU staff and thank you very much. Thank you."
John: "So, that's $300, what do you think you can do with that?"
Vicki: "Well, my daughter is going to Georgia Southern for the fall semester and I think we can think of a lot to do with it."
