An Emanuel County man is charged with the murder of his wife.
George Kirkland is accused in the shooting death of Sherry Kirkland.
Authorities tell us she was shot on Ebenezer Church Road in Swainsboro Sunday night.
George Kirkland is being held in jail without bond.
