Columbia County Investigators have made an arrest in a weekend murder. Investigators arrested 46-year-old Yvette “Candice” Taylor Saturday afternoon.
According to an incident report,Taylor told investigators she left her apartment around 1:30 a.m. Saturday because 63 year old Theodore Crew was speaking "foolishness". She says she then went to her mother's house, also in the same complex, where she stayed the night.
Taylor told investigators that she returned to her apartment at 8 a.m. Saturday morning and found Crew on the floor of the bathroom, when she called 911. When deputies arrived they found blood splattered in the living room.
Details are limited, but we do know that deputies arrested Taylor for murder. Taylor was released from prison back in November 2002 for involuntary manslaughter.
