WJBF News Channel 6 has learned there is a statewide outageshortage of permanent disability placards in Georgia.
We received the following press release from the Office of Steven B. Kendrick, Tax Commissioner of Richmond County:
"I wanted to inform you of a state wide outage/shortage of permanent disability placards. Our offices have deplete the last of their supply and the order is not scheduled to ship until the middle of the month – per the DOR warehouse. This is a state wide problem and a rush order has been placed with the supplier. Taxpayers who request a placard will receive them in the mail 'by the end of the month'."
