There was a Family Festival and Education Fair. The event included more than 30 display tables from local youth agencies and colleges. There were lots of games, giveaways, arts and crafts, entertainment, and more.
We caught up with recording artist and actress Kayte Grace, who performed some of her hits from her latest album. She was excited about getting the chance to perform in Augusta.
Kayte Grace-Recording Artist and Actress-"It's awesome. It's such a big crowd. It's a mix of kids and parents and families and I think music sounds better with fresh air and that's been fun. It's a beautiful day. I loved it, yeah."
There was also a big parade downtown today featuring over 40 youth groups, marching units, and floats.
