The Grand National Cross Country ATV and motorcycling racing series is not a clean sport.
Chris Borich, riding pro: "We had to wash up for the podium, l but yeah you're usually filthy out there."
Off-roading professional and last year’s champion, Chris Borich, came in second, this time...
Borich: "We're looking to pull some wins off."
He, along with the thousands of other racers, travel all over the US and the world to compete in off-roading races.
Christine O’Donnell, reporting: "So, this is more hardcore?"
John Knox: "Well the trees don't seem to move."
GNCC’s security guard, John Knox, has been with the company for years, but has never competed.
Knox: “I’m actually one of those guys who rides a Harley down the road. I think these guys are nuts."
After eight years in the pros the scary courses don't bother Borich anymore.
Borich: "It’s just a good time..nothing much."
These guys considers the sport both action packed and fun for the family.
Logan Merriman, spectator: “It'll take me pretty much anywhere.”
Knox: "We're one big happy fam. Not always happy, but we're there for each other.”
Sunday is the final day of racing. The track is located at 3030 Thomson Road in Washington, GA. The best races start before 1:00pm. Tickets are $15 each.
