Augusta, GA -- Some people call him Dr. Watson, while others call him "Papa Doc".
No matter the name...it's the person and the presence that reaches from the rotating hospital doors all the way to the third floor where the women's center at University Hospital is conveniently named after him.
Sheena Bodie, reporting: "February 25, 2010 turned out to not only be a celebration for "Papa Doc", but for one of the thousands of Watson' babies born in the CSRA.
"Watson Baby" Tom Macafee was at the University Hospital to see and celebrate the doctor's 100th birthday, along with the birth of his daughter on Thursday. And his daughter has a special name...Audrey.
Tom Macafee: "His wife 's name is Audrey...we're just excited."
Audrey Marie Macafee became a celebrity at just hours old. She is one of the many babies born on Dr. Watson's birthday. Even though the title is honorary, Audrey, like her dad, is also a "Watson Baby".
The families of each baby born were given a set of balloons and a cute little "Watson Baby" onesie.
In his hundred years, Dr. Watson has touched many lives and has played a part in many generations, including baby Audrey.
