Augusta, GA - While many hotels are working around the clock to get ready, another was just thankful to be open in time.
The Comfort Inn and Suites off Jimmie Dyess Parkway in Columbia County is up and running. Hotel owners tell us they have been working day and night, preparing for their Masters week guests. The new hotel still has rooms up for grabs but not for long.
Manager Christi Pits says, "I expect a lot of excitement. I expect it to be busy. I think it's going to be a wonderful experience and its going to be great for the surrounding area and the Augusta area."
