Columbia County Shoplifting Suspect Gets Away With Notebook Computer

According to Capt. Steve Morris, the Columbia County Sheriff's Office is asking for help from the public to identify a shoplifting suspect. The incident happened Monday, October 19th, at the Computer Exchange store located at 3835 Washington Road, in Martinez.

Martinez, GA -- According to Capt. Steve Morris, the Columbia County Sheriff's Office is asking for help from the public to identify a shoplifting suspect.

The incident happened Monday, October 19th, at the Computer Exchange store located at 3835 Washington Road, in Martinez.

Employees say the suspect took a notebook computer and concealed the computer in the front on his pants. They then say the suspect then left the store without making any attempt to pay for the computer. The suspect is said to have left in a dark colored SUV or van.
