Marion White Linder Loses Cancer Fight

Marion White Linder died Friday after a long battle with brain cancer. Mrs. Linder will best be remembered as a champion of charity. Among the dozens of organizations she had a role in, Mrs. Linder helped raise funds for the Children's Medical Center at MCG. She played a significant role in the annual Children's Miracle Network Telethon. According to her obituary at Platt's Funeral Home, she started her career in fashion and planning at J.B. Whites department store. Mrs. Linder was 60 years old.
