Stormy Weather Sweeps Across Two State

Stormy weather is making for a messy commute. There are numerous downed trees and power lines reported across two state, including Richmond and Columbia Counties. Around 7:30 this morning, a tree fell onto Springwood at Eisenhower Drive in West Augusta,blocking the roadway. The Richmond County Fire Department was called to the scene. The Columbia County Sheriff's Office reports numerous trees down. No injuries reported.

In Warren County, a power outage is causing schools to open late today.
According to the Superintendent, schools in Warren County will open at 9:30 this morning, if power has been restored.
