Aiken, SC -- A former Aiken County school administrator, arrested Tuesday and charged with molesting students in the late 1970's, is now out of jail on bond..
67-year-old Stephen Coke Eubanks had a bond hearing in front of Judge Jack Early this morning in Aiken.
Judge Early set Eubanks' bond at $25,000, or $5,000 for each count he is charged with. His first court appearance is scheduled for December 5th.
Yesterday, SLED agents arrested Eubanks at his home in North Augusta.
Investigators say Eubanks was an administrator at North Augusta High School and Paul Knox Junior High School (now Paul Know Middle School) at the time of the alleged molestations. They say the victims were students at those schools.
The arrest warrants accuse Eubanks of trying to have sex with a 14-year-old boy in 1977...and exposing himself to the same boy 2 years earlier. He is also accused of having sex with a 16-year-old girl in 1976.
The man who claims to be that 14-year-old boy, Greg Lass, spoke with WJBF this morning at the bond hearing. Tune in tonight at 5, 5:30, and 6:00 PM to hear from him.
