We've heard the stories about the difficulty of quitting smoking, but some doctors say more plastic surgery patients have a new reason.
Many plastic surgeons won't operate unless a patient quits. The nicotine in cigarettes cause blood vessels to spasm, and in surgery this can cause infections that lead to permanent scaring.
