Former North Augusta star Tyler Colvin showed why the Chicago Cubs drafted him in the first-round of the 2006 MLB draft. On Monday night, Colvin made his first career MLB start and helped lead the Cubs to a 10-2 win. Colvin went 1-3 and drove in a run in the first inning with a sacrifice fly.

On Monday night, Colvin made his first career MLB start and helped lead the Cubs to a 10-2 win. Colvin went 1-3 and drove in a run in the first inning with a sacrifice fly.
Colvin’s first big-league hit came in the third inning when he ripped a single to right off Brewers starter Braden Looper.
