LOS ANGELES (AP) - Matt Stairs and Shane Victorino hit two-run home runs in the eight inning to lead Philadelphia to a 7-5 win over the Dodgers in the National League Championship Series. The power display gave the Phillies a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series and put them a win away from their first World Series since 1993.

Victorino tied the game with his homer off of Dodgers reliever Cory Wade and 40-year old Stairs provided the game winner off of Jonathan Broxton.

Casey Blake homered in the sixth inning to break a 3-all tie and Juan Pierre scored on an error later in the inning to build a two-run lead, but the Dodgers bullpen couldn’t hold it.
