Augusta, GA—Game one of the World Series is Wednesday night in Saint Petersburg, Florida…the Tampa Bay Rays are in the “Fall Classic” for the first time in team history, and one CSRA native will be watching closer than most.
Kevin Lynn has been a pitcher in the Rays organization for the last four years. He pitched at North Augusta High School and Clemson before the Rays signed him in the summer of 2005.
Kevin spent most of this past year in AAA with current Rays Evan Longoria and B.J. Upton, among others…before an elbow injury cut his season short.
Kevin is back home rehabbing that elbow, but will be there in spirit, for Game one, Wednesday night against the Phillies.
