Augusta, Ga—Free Pennington was at Jones Creek, Thursday afternoon, but he wasn’t driving his golf ball down the fairway…instead he was driving his number 7 Free American Racing Chevy car.
The Evans, GA native is gearing up for this weekend’s ARCA Series race at Rockingham. It will mark only his second appearance in the ARCA series.
Free has a number of local sponsors and he’d like to race full-time next year on the ARCA series. He’s already lined up some big names to help him at this weekend’s race.
