Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Has “Had Enough” With Frustrating Year
Dale Earnhardt Jr. says he’s “had enough” as he rides out the worst season of his NASCAR career. Earnhardt is stuck in a 51-race winless streak dating back to 2008, his first season with Hendrick Motorsports. He heads into Saturday night’s race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway ranked 22nd in the standings and has just five top-10s this season.

Denny Hamlin has ended a 50-race winless skid by holding off Juan Pablo Montoya over the final thrilling laps to win at Pocono Raceway. Hamlin again made Pocono his personal playground, winning on Monday for the third time in eight career starts. He’s had three other top 10s on the triangle track.

Former Indy CEO Wants Answers About His Removal
Tony George wants to know why he was ousted as CEO of Indianapolis Motor Speedway. George used his IndyCar team’s Web site Sunday to reflect on the move, claiming he has not received a “reasonable explanation” from the company’s board of directors, which consists primarily of family members.

Appeals Court Rules For NASCAR On Jeremy Mayfield Ban
An appeals court has ruled in NASCAR’s favor, granting its request to keep Jeremy Mayfield off the race track. The decision Friday by the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals means Mayfield is once again suspended for failing a May 1 random drug test.
