Louisville, GA Native Punches His Ticket To Next Year’s Masters
Louisville is located 45 miles from Augusta National National Golf Club. It took Brian Gay just less than 39 years to make the trip. The former Louisville resident won his first full-field event on the PGA Tour, Sunday, in Hilton Head, and as such earned his first-ever invitation to the Masters. Cabrera, Perry Tied For Masters Lead; No Sign Of Tiger
Kenny Perry and Angel Cabrera will go to the final day of the Masters sharing the lead. Perry began Saturday’s third round tied for the top spot with Chad Campbell. But he overcame consecutive bogeys in Amen Corner to shoot a 2-under-par 70. The 48-year-old Kentuckian is trying to become golf’s oldest major champion, at a tournament he didn’t even play the last three years.
