Last football season, Lakeside won 7 games. The Panthers still missed the state playoffs, but it did set the stage for what is taking place this year. Friday night, Lakeside can capture its first region championship in school history. WJBF News Channel 6 Sports Director Chris Kane has more.

Two Seneca High School football players have been charged with simple assault and battery for a reported locker room incident with a teammate. Seneca Police say that Devin Gaines, 17, and Austin Hunter, 18, were both released on a personal recognizance bond of $1,092.50.

It’s good to be a Lakeside Panther. The football team is on the verge of winning its first ever region championship, the Volleyball team made it to the state’s sweet sixteen, and the boys and girls cross country teams are in position to win a state championship.
