Columbia, SC—South Carolina offensive lineman Justin Sorensen may have put it best, this week, when he said the Gamecocks aren’t celebrating, yet, because no one wants a repeat of last year. That was when the Gamecocks went from bowl eligible to sitting home for the holidays, because they lost their final five games.

Th Gamecocks are once again bowl eligible, with six wins, but with three still to play, the main goal is to avoid a repeat of last year’s collapse, starting this Saturday against Arkansas.

This might be a good chance for Carolina to get its offense in gear. Arkansas ranks dead last in the SEC in total defense. Stephen Garcia will once again get the start at quarterback.
