ATLANTA (AP) - For once, playing as a team is not such a good thing for Georgia.
Coach Mark Richt says the Bulldogs deserve equal blame in every area following Saturday’s 45-19 loss at Tennessee, including offense, defense, special teams and coaching.
He said Sunday the whole team must improve.
The loss left the Bulldogs 3-3 overall for the first time in Richt’s nine seasons in Athens. Georgia must make a return trip to the state of Tennessee this week for Vanderbilt.
There may have been equal blame for the loss, but Georgia’s offensive woes were noteworthy. Georgia did not have a red zone possession. The Bulldogs’ only touchdowns came on an interception return and a kickoff return.
