CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - Clemson coach Dabo Swinney says he doesn’t expect any additional flu cases among his team after six players sat out practice with symptoms.

Swinney said Tuesday he had not gotten reports of more players hit with the bug.

Starting defensive tackle Jarvis Jenkins was home in bed Monday recovering. Five other players, all offensive lineman, watched workouts from the bleachers at the indoor practice facility and wore masks to stop the spread of the virus.

Swinney says the staff continue to monitor players and talk to them about combatting the illness. He says they’ve emphasized washing hands and not sharing cell phones to keep the players healthy.
