Augusta, GA—Instead of joining his college buddies, last week, for a Spring Break trip to Florida, Augusta State’s Garret Siler decided to go on a job interview. And, that decision is going to pay off big-time.
The former Gaguars All-America center spent the week in Virginia at the Portsmouth Invitational, which is a prestigious pre-NBA draft camp. Siler more than held his own against some of the country’s top college players.
Siler made the all-tourney team after averaging 16 points and 8 rebounds, in 12 games. Siler impressed many pro scouts and his NBA draft stock is rising.
