COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina’s game with Arkansas on Nov. 8 has been switched to 1 p.m.

It was announced Monday that the the Razorbacks and Gamecocks contest in Columbia would start at 7 p.m. and be shown on a pay-per-view basis. However, South Carolina athletic director Eric Hyman detailed the change on Tuesday.

Hyman wouldn’t specify why the switch was made, saying only that after looking at all options, he thought playing in the afternoon was the right thing to do.
