Georgia D.O.T. Launches ‘Teen Driving Safety 101’ Website For Georgia Teens

According to a press release, the Georgia Department of Transportation (GADOT) is launching a new resource for teen drivers and their parents. The website, ‘Teen Driving Safety 101,‘ is a ‘one-stop’ information portal providing information on driving laws, safety tips and travel information to help teens stay safe behind the wheel.

So you think you’ve got swine flu? Now there’s help at the click of your computer mouse. An interactive Web site is being offered to help people decide just how bad their case is. Microsoft is teaming up with Emory University to offer the online help, designed to simulate the very conditions that doctors use in the office to decide just how bad a person’s flu case really is.

SC Launches Help For Seniors In Avoiding Ripoffs

South Carolina kicked off a new service Friday.  It’s aimed at preventing senior citizens and anyone else from being ripped off.  It’s called “Senior Shield”.  It’s a website and a toll-free phone number.  Businesses pay a fee to go through checks to make sure they’re licensed and insured.  And users can also see whether or not complaints have been filed against them.  There are also background checks on employees that go into people’s homes.
