UPDATED: FBI Search Warrant Served At Columbia County Home

Columbia County Sheriff’s Office deputies helped the FBI serve a search warrant Friday morning at a home on Evans-To-Lock Road. Authorities say the search was internet-related and may involve children. The person arrested at the home has been identified as Mike Adams. Arrests are expected soon in a developing drug case in Aiken…earlier this week, investigators executed a search warrant in Augusta and seized cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana.

Clearwater Fire Department Continues Serving, Despite Loss Of Chief And Two Others

The Clearwater Fire Department continues to answer calls, despite losing its chief and two others. Chief Mike Toole was fired by the Clearwater Water Commisioner. Earlier this week, Toole turned himself in, after a two-year old warrant for a misdemeaner surfaced at the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.

Levy Slaying Suspect Arrives In DC For Court Date

The suspect in the slaying of intern Chandra Levy has arrived in Washington, D.C., where he’s expected to appear in court on a first-degree murder charge. U.S. Attorney’s Office spokesman Channing Phillips says Ingmar Guandique will be formally charged with killing Levy before his initial court appearance, which will likely be Thursday.

UPDATED: Aiken County Sex Offender Arrested

According to Lt. Michael Frank, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) holds a warrant for the arrest of a Jackson man, who failed to register as sex offender and failed to notify ACSO of his change of address. Thomas R. Rhoden Jr., 34, of the 5100 block of Trotter Court, inJackson, South Carolina, will be charged with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
