President Obama Vows Not To Send People To War Without Cause

President Barack Obama is promising newly graduated Navy and Marine officers that he will only send young Americans into battle when “it is absolutely necessary” and when the mission is well-defined. Speaking to this year’s graduating class at the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Md., Friday, Obama talked of the “promise that I make to you.“ He vowed to give troops whatever equipment and other support they need to get the job done, both now and in the future.

Top Court To Hear Arguments In SC-NC Water Lawsuit

South Carolina will be allowed to present oral arguments to the nation’s highest court as to why utilities and municipalities should stay out of the state’s water dispute with North Carolina. The U.S. Supreme Court did not give a time frame or issue any other comment in making its decision Monday.
