Advance Voting Seeing Record Turnout

NAACP Challenges Aiken County Board of Elections
The fight over absentee voting continues in Aiken County. Monday night, the Board of Elections voted not to open satellite locations for absentee voting, which started Monday. The NAACP says thousands of voters could be disenfranchised if these satellite locations aren’t opened. Critics say the term disenfranchisement is being tossed around, and the real disenfranchisement issue could come from votes potentially being thrown out…if it’s determined state law only allows absentee voting at a county’s Board of Elections office. WJBF News Channel 6’s Paige Tucker has more.
