Clearwater Fire Department Continues Serving, Despite Loss Of Chief And Two Others
The Clearwater Fire Department continues to answer calls, despite losing its chief and two others. Chief Mike Toole was fired by the Clearwater Water Commisioner. Earlier this week, Toole turned himself in, after a two-year old warrant for a misdemeaner surfaced at the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.

Red Cross Volunteers Help With Storm Cleanup In South Augusta
Storm clean-up continued in Augusta, on Saturday. Over on Bungalow Road, neighbors spent time helping out in yards. There are still trees that need to be removed, and houses that need to be repaired…but residents here tell us things are going smoothly because of everybody lending a hand.

Volunteers Donate Nearly $5,000 For Patients Comfort And Care
In an e-mail to WJBF News Channel 6, the Doctors Hospital Volunteer Guild tells us they donate more than 20,000 hours of service a year caring for patients, but that’s not all. Recently, the Guild gave $4,900 to Doctors Hospital.
