SC Medical School Loses 10,000 Flu Vaccine Doses
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) has destroyed more than 10,000 doses of the seasonal flu vaccine after they were frozen during shipment. The school was only able to salvage about 2,600 doses. Officials say freezing the vaccine makes it ineffective.

Georgia Swine Flu Vaccinations To Start Tuesday
Swine flu vaccinations are expected to start in Georgia on Tuesday. Georgia is initially receiving about 55,000 doses of a nasal spray version of the vaccine. State officials say healthy children ages 2 through 4 are being prioritized for the first doses.
