USC Safety Chris Culliver Won’t Play Vs. Arkansas

South Carolina safety Chris Culliver will miss Saturday’s game against Arkansas. Gamecocks coach Steve Spurrier said Tuesday that Culliver’s left shoulder is still bothering him. But the coach also said he is angry the junior didn’t report how sore his shoulder was before last Saturday’s game against Tennessee.

USC Gamecocks Try To Avoid Repeat Of Last Year’s Late Season Collapse

South Carolina offensive lineman Justin Sorensen may have put it best, this week, when he said the Gamecocks aren’t celebrating, yet, because no one wants a repeat of last year. That was when the Gamecocks went from bowl eligible to sitting home for the holidays, because they lost their final five games. WJBF News Channel 6’s John Hart has more.

South Carolina’s football game against Arkansas this weekend will be on TV after all. Gamecocks athletics director Eric Hyman said Monday the school got a one-time wavier to be able to show the 1 p.m. Saturday football game on pay-per-view.
