We have the latest information on an afternoon fire in Aiken…Wednesday, it was Richmond County, Thursday…Aiken had their own massive fire to deal with. WJBF News Channel 6’s Barclay Bishop has been on the scene all evening, and she has more.

It’s another example of the two-state rallying to help someone from out-of-state. A family from Alabama is in Augusta at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center. Their son needs your “gift” to recover. It has been one year since the Imperial Sugar refinery blast, in Savannah. Many of the people injured in the explosion were treated at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center, at Doctors Hospital, in Augusta. It’s a place that depends on local blood donations, and Saturday there was a special effort to recruit new donors.
