Woman’s Dying Wish Devastated By Storms
One of the saddest stories coming out of this storm was in Thomson, where Saturday, a dying woman’s wish was supposed to come true. WJBF News Channel 6’s Barclay Bishop has the story.
Storms Cause Damage in Beech Island
WJBF News Channel 6 Photojournalist Mike Ludwikowski surveyed the damage in Beech Island, SC including damage to a bank, trees covering roadways, and damage to a Dollar General store. He tells Brad Means what the scene was like.
Extensive Storm Damage In Grovetown, GA
In Grovetown, there was extensive damage off Robinson Avenue, near the fire department…that’s where the top of a tree snapped off and fell to the ground. A tree also fell into power lines at the corner of Pippin Street and Barbara Street. Another tree blocked Barbara Street completely, after it fell into a transformer. WJBF News Channel 6’s Jennie Montgomery spoke to residents at the scene.

Storm Damage Reported In Edgefield County, Tornado Warnings Issued
WJBF News Channel 6 has received reports of large trees being downed in Edgefield County. We have also received reports of large hail in Johnston, South Carolina. We are awaiting word on if there is any damage in Saluda County. Let us know if you see or receive storm damage. Strong weather will continue to move through the CSRA Friday night, and should clear up by Saturday morning.
