It’s seen so many troubles that some are calling the TEE Center in Augusta dead, but despite the conflict, the trade center design team is finishing its work with a new drawings and even a 3-D Model of the project, but the time is coming for the TEE Center design team to stop meeting like this. Augusta is planning a major redevelopment of the city’s historic inner city neighborhoods. Along with the new trade center, the revitalization project will use money from a dollar a night hotel room fee as a source of funding. It’s considered one of Historic Augusta’s most endangered properties, the old T.R. Waxwell warehouse at Reynolds Street and James Brown Boulevard.
