AP Source: DJ AM Autopsy Finds Pills In Stomach

DJ AM had prescription pills in his stomach and one in his throat when police found him dead in his apartment, a New York City official said Wednesday. The official told The Associated Press that six pills were found in the celebrity disc jockey’s stomach and that the pill in his throat appeared to be the powerful painkiller OxyContin.

Alcohol and drugs were factors in a crash that killed five people in Aiken County, a month ago. ‘The Aiken Standard’ reports that the driver, 26-year-old Crystal Lyell, tested positive for alcohol, marijuana, and hydrocodone.

WJBF EXCLUSIVE: Lakeside High School Student Dies Day After Graduation

18-year-old Melanie Garrison accepted her diploma, Saturday afternoon, at Lakeside High School’s graduation. Sunday evening, she was pronounced dead at Doctors Hospital. The coroner says the cause of her death is undetermined. Her body was sent to the crime lab for an autopsy. Count on WJBF News Channel 6’s Renita Crawford for the story.
