According to our sister station in Spartanburg, WSPA News Channel 7 Sports Director Pete Yanity confirms with a Clemson Athletic Department official that Tommy Bowden stepped down as Clemson’s head Coach. Dabo Swinney will take over as Clemson’s interim head coach through the rest of this season.

Maryland Learns About Itself In Clemson Win
Maryland took its fourth straight victory over a ranked opponent and second straight triumph over Clemson in Death Valley, and now the Terrapins can start thinking about a run at an Atlantic Coast Conference title.

Maryland (4-1, 1-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) came in as a big underdog, just like in 2006 here, against the preseason favorites for the conference title. And just like two years ago, the Terps overcame a second-half deficit for the win.
