In Edgefield, South Carolina there could be a big break after an arrest in a burglary case…several burglary cases, in fact. Over the past month, more than $100,000 worth of goods have been taken from homes in the southside area of Edgefield County. Specifically the Wire Road, Five Notch Road, and Sweetwater Road areas. According to Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton, at approximately 11:43 p.m. on May 22, 2009 a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle near the intersection of Highway 25 north and Sweetwater Road, in Aiken County.
