SC Lawmakers Endorse Plan For Wireless Access
Some lawmakers have endorsed a plan to lease South Carolina’s Educational Television’s excess capacity to create a wireless broadband network. ‘The State’ reported that supporters say the plan will bring in revenue, while offering a new technology, for a fee.

SC Financial Leaders Put Off Possible Budget Cuts
South Carolina’s financial leaders have delayed a possible cut of $200 million from the state’s budget. The Budget and Control Board voted Thursday to delay action on chopping all agencies by 4 percent, or $200 million.
