It is that time, again, when high school seniors are preparing to leave school and either enter the job market or move on to college. We would like to congratulate the CSRA high school seniors. Once again, this year, WJBF News Channel 6 will be recording high school graduations in Aiken County, Columbia County, and Richmond County, and they will be archived on WJBF.com. Graduation ceremonies are now online for the Aiken County High Schools that we covered: Aiken High School, Midland Valley High School, North Augusta High School, Silver Bluff High School, and South Aiken High School.

Several CSRA students will receive scholarships Tuesday afternoon from companies at the Savannah River Site.

South Aiken rallied in overtime to stun Eastside (9th-ranked team in country) 2-1 Saturday night in the Boys South Carolina AAA state championship game. WJBF News Channel 6’s Chris Kane has more.

An Aiken County teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a female student is out on bond. Aiken County investigators say 38-year-old Craig Kessler turned himself in Friday afternoon.

Officers with Aiken Department of Public Safety say a South Aiken High School teacher is under arrest. Craig Kessler is charged with Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature, and Contributing to the Deliquency of a Minor.
