Several road projects in Augusta and Columbia County have already been approved for funding from a part of the money Georgia received from the stimulus bill. Stimulus Money Creates Jobs In Georgia

Augusta Armed Robbery Suspect Sought
According to Sgt. Blaise Dresser, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect in an armed robbery. The robbery occurred Friday morning at the 5 Star Express convenience store located at 724 Laney Walker Boulevard Extension, in Augusta, at the intersection with Sand Bar Ferry Road.
