Several road projects in Augusta and Columbia County have already been approved for funding from a part of the money Georgia received from the stimulus bill. Augusta Armed Robbery Suspect Sought

According to Sgt. Blaise Dresser, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect in an armed robbery. The robbery occurred Friday morning at the 5 Star Express convenience store located at 724 Laney Walker Boulevard Extension, in Augusta, at the intersection with Sand Bar Ferry Road.
