The state Board of Funeral Service has sanctioned a Marietta funeral home and suspended two of its funeral directors. One of the reasons cited in the report for the sanctions against Hanley-Shelton Funeral home was a corpse left unrefrigerated for five months.

One of Michael Vick’s lawyers has withdrawn from his bankruptcy case. Peter Ginsberg says in court papers filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Newport News that his withdrawal is in the suspended NFL star’s best interests.
