According to Investigator Rodney Pruitt, with the Williston Police Department, an armed robbery occurred at about 8:15 p.m., Wednesday night, at the IGA grocery store.

According to Lt. Michael Frank, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) has linked an Aiken man to an armed robbery Tuesday at Waffle House, at 105 Frontage Road, in Aiken. Timothy L. Lakes, 23, of the 100 block of Jack Jones Street, in Aiken, will be charged with Armed Robbery and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime.

According to Lt. Scott Peebles, two suspects watned in a robbery in Burke County and police chase into Richmond County, turned themselves in Wednesday morning.

After the robbery, the suspects were involved in a high-speed chase, in which shots were fired at several police officers. The suspects are known to be armed at this time. The suspects are identified as 20-year-old Julian Durden, III and 23-year-old William Dalzell.

Richmond County authorities are searching for a robbery suspect. They say surveillance video shows a man who robbed the BP Gas Station at 3745 Wheeler Road, on October 11th.
