Steady Flow Of People Get H1N1 Vaccines In Augusta

The Richmond County Health Department gave out doses of the H1N1 vaccine nasal mist on Tuesday. Nobody came in to get the vaccine while our cameras were there, but officials with the health department say they have seen a steady flow of people coming in since they got the vaccine.

Richmond County Armed For Heavy Flu Season

The flu outbreak in the CSRA seems to be getting worse. One North Augusta doctor says he can’t ever recall seeing this many flu cases this early in the season. Now local health officials are scrambling to be pro-active, rather than re-active with the flu. Joy Howe has more.

Richmond County Student Tests Positive For Tuberculosis

Richmond County school leaders are looking into a case of tuberculosis at a local school. A student at John Milledge Elementary School has tested positive for tuberculosis (TB). The test, however, was not performed by the school.
