Green Plan Aims To Save More Green
A board mandate requires that all Richmond County Schools keep their thermostats set on 78. For the last three years it has been using only compact fluorescent bulbs and now schools could soon be *rewarded* for using less energy.

Richmond County High School Vandalized
The WJBF News Channel 6 Crime Tracker reports a local Richmond County school vandalized again over the weekend. Butler High school has seen its share of publicity. Richmond County Schools Celebrate With CRCT Retake Scores
It’s good news for the Richmond County School System. Results from the CRCT retests show great improvement…72 percent of Richmond County schools have made AYP, and for school leaders and parents, this is the beginning of more to come.

Principal Swap: Bedden Announces Leadership Change For Butler High School
Dr. Dana Bedden announced that Gregory Thompson will replace Dr. Walter Reeves at Butler High School. Bedden announced that Reeves will be replacing the departing Veta New at Hephzibah High School October 1. Thompson comes to Butler from Josey High School, where he is assistant principal.
