The father of a Richmond County student is speaking out after video was released of a Richmond County Board of Education officer grabbing his son’s neck. He sits down only with WJBF News Channel 6’s Barclay Bishop to talk about what he thinks should happen to that officer.

Muskeeters Head Coach Chris Hughes has turned the Musketeers program around…going from zero wins in ‘07…to 6 wins and a playoff berth in ‘08. Boxing champion Vernon Forrest called Atlanta home, but his roots and his heart were in Augusta. Late Saturday, he was shot and killed during an armed robbery. It is that time, again, when high school seniors are preparing to leave school and either enter the job market or move on to college. We would like to congratulate the CSRA high school seniors. Once again, this year, WJBF News Channel 6 will be recording high school graduations in Aiken County, Columbia County, and Richmond County, and they will be archived on WJBF.com.
