Local Pet Store Owner Faces Allegations Of Selling Unhealthy Pets

A local pet store owner was in court pleading her case after allegations she sold unhealthy puppies. Rebecca Loo is the owner of Loo’s Cuddly Critters. A local pet store facing some pretty tough charges. Loo’s Cuddly Critters owner, Rebecca Loo, has been cited for multiple counts of animal cruelty. Loo’s accused of not taking proper care of the more than 60 puppies she keeps in her store. WJBF News Channel 6’s Barclay Bishop has more.

Michael Frank, of the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO), from nearly 4,000 entries submitted by Aiken County elementary students in the ‘Pin the Pups Name Contest’, Sheriff Michael Hunt, during a Wednesday morning news conference, announced the names selected for the newest members of the Aiken Bloodhound Tracking Team (ABTT).

Aiken County Elementary School Children to Help Name Bloodhound Puppies

According to Lt. Michael Frank, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) is pleased to announce the birth of four bloodhound puppies to Jessie, a member of the Aiken Bloodhound Tracking Team. ACSO is sponsoring the Pin the Pups Name Contest and inviting students from all 20 elementary schools in Aiken County to name the puppies. Beginning Thursday, teachers will distribute entry forms to students, who then can submit up to four names.
