According to Lt. Scott Peebles, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating a series of robberies and carjackings, which investigators believe are connected. Wednesday, at about 1:00 p.m., investigators located a white pickup truck that they believed was involved in the series of robberies. At about 3:30 p.m., investigators stopped the truck and took three men into custody. The arrested suspects are identified as: Martin Salance Harvey, 21; Tevin Demarcus Bell, 17; Kavuan Bernard Moore, 20. The wanted suspect is identified as Mica Rochelle Gray, 19. UPDATE: Mica Gray was arrested at Savannah Suites Motel, on Wrightsboro Road, on Octobr 15th at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Richmond County Sheriff’s Office investigators have arrested the person responsible for the September 9th home invasion that occurred on Ridgewood Drive, in Augusta.

According to Lt. Scott Peebles, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect in connection to a shooting death that occurred at a Gordon Highway Circle K station last Thursday (Sept. 10). The suspect is identified as 23-year-old Joseph Andrew Thomas.

One man is behind bars after Richmond County Investigators say he’s a prime suspect in a home invasion turned deadly. It all happened Wednesday night along the 2200 block of Plantation Road, in South Augusta. WJBF News Channel 6’s Fraendy Clervaud has more.

Kelvin Steffor Johnson was arrested without incident, around 7:30 a.m., Thursday morning, according to the Augusta Richmond County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest occurred on the 2300 block of Boykin Road He was wanted in connection with the shooting death of Martha Greene, Wednesday night.

According to Lt. Scott Peebles, at 9:03 p.m., Friday evening, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting call at 265 Deerfield Lane. Joseph Dominic Hoehn, 41, is under arrest after investigators say he shot and killed 38-year-old Robert Cary Congleton.

Saturday morning, iInvestigators were called out to a local hotel and found the body of Gary Gregory. The East Taylor Street resident had been shot in the head. Further investigation led to the arrest of Nathanial Smith. Smith is charged with murder. A motive has not yet been determined.

According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a pregnant Augusta woman for armed robbery. Rochelle Margaret Hailey, 21, was charged with Armed Robbery, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, and Theft By Receiving Stolen Property.

A teen wanteed for murder at Cherry Tree Crossing has turned himself into the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office. Brodrick Deontay Seals, 17, is facing charges in the shooting death of 19-year-old Shawdrel Horton. The shooting happened around midnight, Wednesday night, and Horton died around 2:00 a.m. at MCG.

WJBF News Channel 6 viewer Identifies 19-year-old Nicholas Tennyson as hospital home shooting suspect. Tennyson was arrested early Wednesday morning on the 1700 block of Hicks Street.

According to Sgt. Calvin Chew, on Saturday, May 16th, at approximately 3:20 a.m., the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Econo Lodge located at 2054 Gordon Highway in reference to shots fired with three subjects down. Upon officer’s arrival, two victims, Exzavius Bray, 16, Danvanqwez Burley, 19, were both found with gunshot wounds to their legs. Both reside on the 3300 block of Greenin Lane, in Augusta. GA 30906) were found to have been shot in the legs. A third victim, 20-year-old Tremayne Cobb, of the 3300 block of Karian Way, in Augusta, was shot in the head and pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Burke County Sheriff’s Office needs your assistance in locating a wanted suspect from Burke County. On the night of May 2nd, Alphonzo Lorenzo Burley, allegedly shot victim, Johnny B. Godbee, twice in the left thigh during a fight at Club Midnight, in Burke County. The suspect also shot his brother, James Eric Burley, in the lower abdomen by accident during the fight.

According to Lt. Scott Peebles, on Friday, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has charged 18-year-old Tavaris Lanard Samuels, of the 1400 block of Perry Avenue, with Murder, in connection with the December 9th, 2008 shooting death of Daniel McGee. Samuels was arrested on Monday in connection with a robbery, unrelated to the McGee murder. Bordrick Tavares Williams, 16, was arrested late friday afternoon in connection to the McGee murder.

According to Investigator Alton Creech, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking Andre D’Norris Blockett, 22, on three outstanding warrants for his arrest in reference to 2 counts of Burglary and 1 count Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime.
