The boisterous, bearded Mays was known for pitching cleaning products and gadgets in commercials that aired nationwide. The 50-year-old was found dead by his wife Sunday morning.

Family, friends and colleagues mourned Mays, 50, who was found unresponsive in his Tampa home Sunday, and awaited an autopsy to determine the cause of his sudden death. The coroner’s office expected to have the autopsy done by Monday afternoon.

Dead Pilot’s Wife: He Died Doing What He Loved

The wife of a Continental Airlines pilot who died on a trans-Atlantic flight from Brussels to Newark says his health had been excellent. Lynda Lenell tells a Houston television station (KHOU-TV) that 60-year-old Craig Lenell had no known heart condition and underwent twice-a-year physicals. She says fellow crew members initially thought he had just fallen asleep.
